Submission

All submissions must use the following online submission system to facilitate rapid review and turnaround time. To submit a revision of an existing manuscript, please sign in here. Only PDF or Microsoft Word* files can be accepted. The whole manuscript should be submitted as a single PDF or Word file that includes all figures and tables.

A covering letter (PDF or Word), which explains why the study is important and deserves publication, should be submitted together with the manuscript file.

For new submission, please suggest 3-5 potential reviewers and provide their contact information including email addresses (in the following "Suggested reviewers" field).

* NIH hasn't adopted Word 2007 and some of our reviewers still use Word 2003. If your manuscript or covering letter is written in Word 2007, please save it as Word 2003 file and submit the Word 2003 file for reviewing purpose. (Click on the Office Button in the top left corner of a Word 2007 document, select "Save As" then "Save as Word 97-2003 document"). Word 2007 files, however, are acceptable at the publication/copyediting stage.
